Appointment of the new director of KSK Insurance (Thailand)

Bangkok, Thailand - Mar 2020, KSK Insurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“KSK Thailand” or the “Company”) has expanded their board of directors with the appointment of an Executive Director, Jess Tham, who currently heads the Claims Chapter at KSK Thailand. KSK Thailand is focused on deepening its digital transformation initiatives which comprise process and cost optimization, with the objective of improving customer experience, offering prescriptive risk management and ultimately improving risk outcomes to return more margins to its customers. The Company believes that such key initiatives require board and management participation to ensure its success.

Tham currently serves as the Claim Chapter Lead since 2016, vast experience in managing claims at various stages of its lifecycle from motor to accident and health insurance. Tham has been part of the wider family at KSK Group (previously known as Kurnia Insurance Berhad) with headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, since 1994. She was instrumental in spearheading KSK Group’s positioning as one of the top 20 most valuable brands in Malaysia within her claims and customer services role. Prior to that, she was attached with Berjaya General Insurance and Maybank Assurance Berhad in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

The Company believes that Tham’s appointment greatly strengthens the board and looks forward to achieving its success. In times of economic volatility, consistent claims experience and performance is even more crucial while ensuring financial strength.
